Rural Life
What I most loved about living in Germany was the change in seasons - it is quite abrupt and obvious - unlike here in Australia. Spring and Autumn are so beautiful. This is probably how it looks today in rural Germany. Raps fields are amazing. The contrast of the yellow against the green and blue always dazzled me. We used to ride our motorbike for picnics after work in fields like this, especially in summer when the nights were long. If you haven't been to Germany I think it's quite easy to think of it as a very over populated modern industrial country, but in fact it's quite the opposite. All the big cities have easy access out into this type of landscape, and the majority of people live in tiny villages or dorfs and live quite the rural quiet life.
