Spargel

In Spring the Germans go nuts for their own home grown white asparagus. They are delicious, but expensive and I found it difficult to eat asparagus twice a day a couple of times a week despite how much I love them. The tablecloth in this shot was actually entirely made by JD's grandmother - she even spun her own cotton. Amazing.
