Hi, Again!

Wow, it's been a lot longer than I was hoping it to be.

I've been trying to work out what I want to say here, and I still haven't made a decision. But this morning I stupidly turned on the TV of all things to try and get some information about the Hicks trial in Guantanamo. I say stupidly, because in this country, morning TV is really just a vacuous superficial conservative waste of airspace and bandwidth. So what was I thinking?

So what did I learn? Well, firstly I learnt that the reporter for the 7 Morning Show, Rani Sadler is in no way shape or form impartial, objective or informed. She made ridiculous screwed up faces of disgust almost any time she needed to refer to David Hicks or his appearance. Referring to his being overweight and his inability to speak normally and the fact he was wearing his prison clothes was so incredibly and blatantly disrespectful and uncompassionate. The man has lived in solitary confinement for years. Putting aside the fact that he would not have been getting any physical exercise, healthy food and fresh air the man hasn't been "socialising" and you don't have to be a trained psychologist to know the effects that solitary confinement may have on a person's mental, emotional and spiritual health. The Today Show on Channel 9 wasn't much better - it gave Alexander Downer the platform to air his fascist ideas and promote the fear factor that his party continues to go on with.

So what did I really learn today? Not to turn the box on in the morning at all, anymore. And limit it at all other times.

The photos are from the last couple of weeks and represent autumn and my moods. Have a nice day everyone.

She lives!

Also, 7,9 or 10 news, whether it be morning or evening are really just headlines. Their coverage is so superficial and bereft of insightful comment that I just don't bother.

Propecia works by blocking the enzyme 5 alpha reductase. This reduces the level of hormone, DHT, in the scalp and allows hairs to revert to a normal growth cycle. This results in no further hair loss and significantly new hair growth in men with Male Pattern Hair Loss.

Rani is a great reporter. Lay off her. Maybe it is just your poor taste that's wrong. Maybe you woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

Get up and watch Rani again tomorrow morning with a new approach to your rigid ways.

Rani supporter.
