Mudgee doesn't yet have the popularity that the Hunter Valley, Margaret River and Barossa Valley regions do, but with some good vineyards popping up out there and some good wines being made, the quiet little town is slowly modernising and gearing up for the tourism onslaught.

mudgee is really becoming known for its produce and wine and organic farming, honey too. i have never been there but it is on my list.
